The Duchess of Cambridge made a triumphant return to the style circuit this week and the world is officially back on #StyleTheBump watch.
Giving Blake Lively a run for her money in the best-dressed mum-to-be stakes, Kate upped the ante for a trio of appearances, working three of her favourite British brands on the trot – Temperley London, Jenny Packham and Alexander McQueen.
Kate In Temperley After 11 weeks off-duty with morning sickness, Kate looked back to her best last night, wearing a black cutwork dress by Temperley London. Attending the Action on Addiction gala dinner at L’Anima Restaurant in East London, she stuck with her staple courts for the pink carpet appearance, set off slightly by a shimmering beaded clutch. See all the images in the gallery above.
Kate In Alexander McQueen Earlier in the week, we saw her practise perfect day-to-night dressing, starting with a pale grey Alexander McQueen coat-dress and Jane Taylor hat (a classic Kate combo) as she joined Prince William to welcome the president of Singapore to the UK. The on-point accessories, the slender proportions… this is how to remind your public what you’re all about.
Kate In Jenny Packham Finally, showcasing the kind of statement leg that Angelina Jolie would be proud of, Kate donned a Jenny Packham column gown, split up to the thigh, when attending the Wildlife Photographer Of The Year Awards at London’s Natural History Museum. The wrapped-up mini-dress was about as risqué as a royal can go – and who can blame her? It was her first night out of the house in months, after all.
