Kate Middleton is no stranger to a spot of style recycling, and has often been spied out and about in the same designer frock twice or even three times. But that's not enough, according to designer Vivienne Westwood.
Speaking ahead of her London Fashion Week show, the British Dame said she'd like the Duchess of Cambridge to re-wear her wardrobe more, as it's 'very good for the environment and it would send out a very nice message.'
KATE MIDDLETON'S MOST MEMORABLE STYLE RE-RUNS
Asked if she had any advice for Kate Middleton, as she prepared to preview her autumn/winter 2013 collections, Westwood said Kate should continue to wear her designer dresses.
'I don't have any advice for her, [although] I think it would be great if she wore the same clothes over and again, because that's very good for the environment and it would send out a very nice message.' she said.
'If you're going to all that trouble to get an outfit that suits you, then you should keep on wearing it.

'I mean you don't have to have a red outfit one day and then something almost the same in blue the next.'
This is not the first time Dame Vivienne has offered an opinion on Kate Middleton's royal style.
The British designer previously revealed in an interview that she thought Kate's style 'ordinary' adding that she was not a fan of the Duchess's trademark black eyeliner.
'I think she's got a problem with eye make-up,' the designer griped to the Sunday Times Magazine.
'The sharp line around her eyes make her look hard. Either she should be smudgy or wear none.'
