Kate Middleton’s High Street Pregnancy Purchase Revealed

Kate Middleton headed to the high street to pick up a new maternity dress, and we've got the deets

Kate Middleton (and her growing baby bump) headed to the high street last week to seek out some perfect pregnancy fashion and, after a trip to Topshop, it’s emerged she picked up a printed dress for her maternity wardrobe.

After being spotted on a spontaneous trip to the London store, the Duchess of Cambridge bought a 40s style tea dress from one of the brand’s concessions, Lovestruck.

The Deirdre dress features a mandarin collar and short sleeves as well as a gathered waist, great for skimming over a blooming belly. The print features autumnal shades with flowers throughout and will be ideal for sunnier days.

At just £37, it’s also a royal bargain and no doubt one many mums-to-be would like to snap up too.

A representative from Topshop confirmed the new purchase to Us Weekly, and Lovestruck designer Erika Shaw is unsurprising thrilled with the news. She said: ‘It's so exciting that the Duchess of Cambridge bought one of my designs. I think it's great that Kate wears high street brands.’
