Kate Middleton isn’t just earning her style stripes as a global fashion icon, she’s also winning the world over with her kind nature and dedication to charity work, something that hasn’t gone unnoticed by Hollywood’s A-list including Rosario Dawson.

When Marie Claire caught up with Rosario, who takes the starring role in Danny Boyle’s latest film, Trance, conversation quickly turned to the red hot Jenny Packham dress she wore to the London premiere and the fact the designer is also a favourite with Kate Middleton.

This prompted Rosario to share her admiration for the royal telling us: ‘There’s a beauty in her [Kate Middleton] that just comes from the inside out and that’s [really] something. It’s that kind of thing I admire in any woman in the public eye.’

Integrity is something that appears very important to Rosario, even with fashion choices it needs to have meaning and she credits the Duchess of Cambridge with being able to manage the difference adding: ‘Her beauty and her style really come from the fact no matter what she’s wearing it never wears her.

‘You can always tell if it’s just something that has been bought and is trying to be creative in the more shallow way, or if it is something that really comes from the person.’

And every style choice Rosario makes certainly comes from the heart as she reveals what promoted her to pick a glittering red gown for the Trance premiere: ‘I’m playing this femme fatale [in Trance] and suddenly I put on this Jenny Packham dress,’ Roasario says. ‘And it’s a throwback to the past - it’s totally sexy and modern and beautiful – thank you Jenny.’
