Kate Middleton may have baby product manufacturers clamoring for her to snap up an item for the royal tot, but she’s decided to have a baby shower so she can ensure she has everything she needs for her bouncing bundle of joy.

And who better to organise the event than her party-planning sister, Pippa Middleton? A source close to the family told OK! magazine it was actually Pippa’s idea to throw the baby shower and that Kate Middleton is hoping the Queen will share in the celebrations.
The source said: ‘While it’s all going to be very relaxed and fun, Kate is hoping the Queen will drop by because the two are remarkably close.
‘They really enjoy each other’s company. Since this is going to be a first for royals, Kate would love the Queen to be part of it.’

Seeing as it’s a celebration, they’ll defiantly be something to toast with although champagne is off the menu. The source added: ‘Pippa is in charge of decorations. Wine and beer will be available — not that Kate will be drinking alcohol, of course.’
