Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry have been having a blast during their VIP tour of the Leavesden Studios in London.

The royal trio have had the run of the Warner Bros. studios on a special Harry Potter tour, during which they've had a trip to the Great Hall, a special effects demonstration on Diagon Alley and a wand lesson in The Gryffindor Common Room (if you've read Harry Potter that'll mean something to you).

William and Harry seemed especially thrilled by their chance to try out the Batmobile and play with other props from the Batman films. Bless.

The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge wore a £38 black and white polka dot dress from Topshop, teamed with a cropped Ralph Lauren jacket, for the royal visit. 

In a speech to formally open the studios William couldn't resist making a joke at his brother's expense saying: 'To be honest, I’m over the moon just to have seen the real Batmobile and Batpod – you don’t do baby seats for those cars, do you, by any chance?

'On the other hand Harry’s just excited to see a real life talking owl in the Harry Potter studios. I haven’t told him yet that Harry Potter is fictional, so please keep the secret for a little longer. '
