This is why Kate Middleton didn't attend Meghan Markle's baby shower
There's an important reason
There's an important reason
Meghan Markle enjoyed her baby shower in New York this week, and everybody has been obsessing over the details. From the very sweet gifts she gave to her guests, to the amazing venue (the Grand Penthouse at the Mark Hotel, dahhling), to the very Hollywood guestlist (Serena Williams and the Clooneys, to name a few), the world has been watching and waiting for information about what went down.
But many noticed that her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, didn't attend. However, it has nothing to do with their rumoured 'feud' - it was simply down to conflicting schedules.
As we reported earlier in the week, Kate and William are currently taking a break from their royal duties in order to spend time with their three children. Prince George and Princess Charlotte are enjoying their half term break, and Kate and William decided to coincide their time off with the school holiday.
According to The Sun, the family of five is enjoying a 'snow filled holiday' together. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge first took their little ones on a winter getaway in 2016 - before little Louis was born - to Courchevel in the Troi Vallees in France for a bit of skiing.
As their family holiday coincided with Meghan's baby shower, Kate wasn't able to attend the party - that's all there is to it.
However, there are reports that the Duchess of Sussex may throw another baby shower in the UK, and if it does happen we're sure Kate will be there to help her sister-in-law celebrate.
