Kate Middleton has made Time Magazine's prestigious 100 most influential people list for the third year in a row

Kate Middleton has made Time Magazine's prestigious Most Influential list for the third year running, it has been revealed.

The Duchess of Cambridge features on the list of the 100 most influential people in the world, alongside First Lady Michelle Obama and superstar singer, Beyonce.

Also featuring with Kate Middleton on the Icons section of the list, are Gabrielle Giffords, Lena Dunham, Malala Yousafzai, Aung San Suu Kyi and, oddly, footballer Mario Balotelli.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence and Christina Aguilera feature under artists, Kim Jong Un and Joe Biden under Leaders, Aamir Khan and Marissa Mayer under pioneers and Jay Z and Sheryl Sandberg under Titans.

Kate Middleton first earned her place on the list in 2011, just weeks before her wedding to Prince William at Westminster Abbey.

In 2012, Kate was joined by her sister Pippa Middleton, but the royal bridesmaid was bumped off the list this year.

Earlier today it was revealed Kate Middleton, already patron of four charities, will take on another four charities this spring.

The Duchess, who shows no sign of slowing down, is thought to be planning both public and private visits to the organisations this spring.
