Kate Middleton joined husband Prince William as he started the runners in a round-the-island marathon on Anglesey just five weeks after the birth of Prince George.
The Duchess of Cambridge looked well-rested and radiant as she walked alongside her husband in her first public engagement since the birth of her son in July.
Duchess Kate stepped out in her usual elegant-yet-laidback mix of high street and designer, choosing some of her favourite wardrobe pieces, including a spotty print top from Zara, green blazer from Ralph Lauren, Paige skinny jeans and Pied a Terre espadrille wedges.
A source told the Daily Mail: 'Initially the Duchess wasn't going to attend but she was also keen for the chance to thank the people of Anglesey herself for the warmth and hospitality they have shown her and the Duke.'
Aides suggested that Kate's decision to appear at today's event, which marks Prince William's last official outing in Angelsey before the family relocate next month, would be determined by how she and her newborn son were feeling.
By the looks of the Duchess at today's event, everyone is just swell.
