Kate Middleton Is Out And About In A £99 Jaeger Sale Dress

But, guess what? Kate Middleton's dress has sold out already.

Kate Middleton is cruising around Greenwich this afternoon, showing her support for the possible British America’s Cup sailing team.

The Duchess of Cambridge, an ardent sailor, is Thames-side for the day to meet the crew leading the bid for the British slot in the 2017 America’s Cup, looking rather nautical in a white and navy blue Jaeger dress and a matching navy clutch.

The smart, fitted dress, which was on sale for £99, has already sold out. This comes as no surprise, as Kate's wardrobe is pretty much THE most coveted of our time (think the Burberry mac fiasco). She's kept it accessible and affordable as well as extremely enviable.

This is her first solo engagement since her trip with Wills to New Zealand, where she showed off her sea legs, (which she earned in her youth working as a deckhand in the Solent) in a series of winning races against the Prince in Auckland Harbour, in a similarly sea-worthy, but much more casual outfit.

The America’s Cup, an around-the-world race is the most important event in the sport of sailing. The British bid to race is led by Olympian Sir Ben Ainslie, who helped Team USA win last year and declared his intentions of getting a British win in 2017.

Let’s hope Kate can steer this team to victory!
