Kate Middleton dressed down to fly home to London today, after completing a successful nine-day Diamond Jubilee tour of the South Pacific with Prince William.

After scoring a series of style hits on the trip, in designer dresses by Alexander McQueen, Alice Temperley, Prabal Gurung and Jenny Packham (to name but a few!) the Duchess of Cambridge finally decided it was time to dress down, choosing comfort over style for her gruellling journey home.
Kate was seen boarding her first flight of the day in a pretty pink floral dress, as she and Prince William were waved off by officials on the first leg of their trip back to the UK.
But after touching down for a refuelling stop in Brisbane, the Duchess did a quick change, emerging from the VIP area in jeans, a long-sleeved white t-shirt and a cosy printed scarf.

After a brief stop, Prince William, Kate Middleton and the rest of the royal party boarded a commercial flight for the 22-hour journey back to London.
Yesterday, William and Kate won a legal battle to block further publication of 'highly intimate' topless photos of Kate Middleton sunbathing on holiday, obtained by French Closer magazine.
The royal couple, who put on a brave face to continue on with their Jubilee tour, despite their troubles, were said to 'welcome' the judge’s ruling.
