Jenny Packham has spilled the beans on dressing the Duchess of Cambridge, revealing each dress she makes for Kate is unique
Kate Middleton has worn some show-shopping dresses in her time, from gorgeous gowns, to tea dresses, formal frocks and more. And now the one of Kate's favourite designers, has opened up on what it's like designing for the Duchess.
Jenny Packham has made many a dress for the Duchess of Cambridge, several of which she took on her recent Diamond Jubilee tour.
And she's apparently learned some key style lessons since she began.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, the British-born designer revealed she once had a letter from a lady in Wisconsin, who was outraged after seeing Kate Middleton's dress blowing up at the hem as she emerged from a plane in Canada.
'I had a little handwritten letter from a lady in Wisconsin passionately criticising me for the primrose yellow shift dress I made for the duchess,' Packham revealed.

'She said didn't I know about putting weights around the bottom of a hem so it can't blow up?
'Well, I didn't know it was going to be worn on a windy runway - but I did think maybe in future I will put in more weighting, just in case...'
The designed explained that every single one of the dresses designed for Kate Middleton (which reportedly come with a £2-3000 price tag!) was completely bespoke, and not available for customers to buy.
'We're not Reiss,' she laughed, adding that she doesn't 'feel the need to be quirky or avant garde'.
Kate Middleton suffered a dress disaster of another kind during her Diamond Jubilee tour, when she accidentally wore a dress from the Cook Islands to an official Solomon Islands dinner.
But Clarence House have confirmed that the mix-up, which occurred after an over-excited member of the royal welcoming committee snuck into the William and Kate's room and left them extra gifts, caused 'no offence'.
