The royal heir isn't expected to arrive for another week or so – but it's already beaten Blue Ivy and Harper Beckham to the top spot of a new poll
Kate Middleton's baby isn't due until mid-July, but it's already been named the world's most influential child.
According to a new poll, the royal heir, whose sex is unknown until he or she arrives next week, is more influential than Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy, David and Victoria Beckham's daughter Harper Seven, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's new arrival, North West. Not only that, but it's the second year in a row that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's unborn royal baby has reached the top spot.
The survey was conducted by discount shopping site PromotionalCodes.org.uk, who provided members of the public with a list of celebrity babies and asked their to name their top ten.
Harper Seven Beckham held the number three spot for the second year running, however, last year’s runner up, Blue Ivy dropped to fourth place.
New to the poll was the latest member of the Rooney family, Klay, who pushed the Prime Minister’s daughter Florence Endellion, into ninth place. Movie star Chris Hemsworth’s daughter India came tenth.
A spokesperson for the site told us: 'When our future heir to the throne arrives in just a few short weeks, he or she will already wear the crown of being the nation’s most influential tot. Also, if you take into account how well-known Kate Middleton and Prince William are around the world, as soon as the royal tot enters this world he or she will be a global super-star.'

On Monday, as we entered the month of the royal baby's due date, photographers descended upon the doorstep of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington hoping to secure a prime slot for the first picture of the newborn.
Spots have been allocated for 160 photographers and yesterday two TV crews set up camp outside the Lindo Wing.
