Kate Middleton And Prince William Jet Off On Second Honeymoon

The royal couple has reportedly just arrived in the Maldives for a romantic holiday - without Prince George

Kate Middleton and Prince William have left behind the windy British weather in favour of a sunnier clime.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly enjoying a lush second honeymoon, after touching down in the Maldives Thursday morning.

The Palace has not provided comment, but MailOnline reports that baby Prince George is not accompanying his parents on their lavish holiday. Instead, they reportedly left their 8-month-old son with Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, at their Berkshire mansion.

If it really is a retreat just for two, it's their first trip away from their son since his birth in July.

It's a bit surprising that the Duke and Duchess are enjoying another sunny break, considering Kate has just returned from a week-long holiday with Prince George and her family in Mustique to celebrate her mum's 59th birthday.

But considering the royal couple is gearing up for their chaotic tour of Australia and New Zealand, kicking off next month, it makes sense that they'd want a few days to relax and enjoy a bit of privacy.
