Kate Middleton And Prince William Enjoy A Weekend On The Slopes In Switzerland

Kate Middleton and Prince William have been enjoying some R&R after attending a friend's wedding in Arosa

Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoyed some much-needed R&R in the upmarket Swiss ski resort of Arosa over the weekend, after attending the wedding of Olympic dressage star Laura Bechtolsheimer and polo player Mark Tomlinson.

The Duchess of Cambridge and her royal hubby were joined by Prince Harry, as well as a group of close friends, for the trip.

HAS KATE MIDDLETON LET SLIP THE SEX OF HER BABY?

William and Kate watched Laura and Mark marry in a lavish ceremony on Saturday, which saw the pair wrap up warm to join guests to wave off the happily married couple.

Continuing her run of spot-on pregnancy styling, Kate Middleton's wore a smart camel coat, a printed Max Mara dress and a brimless brown hat with a bow by James Lock & Co.

After the ceremony, the royal pair attended a lavish reception at a hotel owned by the bride's grandfather, with onlookers revealing William and Kate happily mingled with guests during the evening.

'The royals were lovely and were just like normal guests,' one insider told the Daily Mail. 'They did not want any special treatment.’

Celebrations over, William and Harry took the opportunity to hit the slopes, but there was no skiing for pregnant Kate Middleton.

While the boys enjoyed some ski-time, Kate was spotted enjoying the scenery, flanked by royal protection officers, before meeting friends for lunch.

Last week royal officials confirmed Kate Middleton will continue her packed schedule of official engagements with a visit to Grimsby.

She'll visit Lincolnshire seaside town tomorrow, to look round the National Fishing Heritage Centre, before moving on to the Humberside Fire and Rescue Service and finally opening new comprehensive school Havelock Academy.

Local paper, the Grimsby Telegraph, is planning a 12-page souvenir pull-out documenting the Duchess's day, while organisers are collecting messages for Kate from people in the town, to be put into a presentation shown to Kate during her visit.
