Kate Hudson called c-sections 'lazy' and the internet exploded
Oh dear
Oh dear

Kate Hudson made headlines recently when she posted a picture on Instagram, revealing that she has shaved her head for her role in Sia's debut film, Sisters.
However, over the last twenty four hours the How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days actress has landed herself in hot water for comments she made about c-sections.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Kate had filled out a list of random insights into her life, detailing things like 'The last photo I took on my phone,' and 'My me-time rituals'.
But it was her joke that her c-section was 'the laziest thing I've ever done' which has not gone down well with a lot of people.
A c-section, or caesarean section, is an operation to remove a baby from the womb by cutting across the lower stomach. This cut is usually between 10-20cm long, and the procedure usually takes less than an hour, but recovery time can sometimes be longer than vaginal births.

The NHS website describes it as 'a major operation that carries a number of risks, so it's usually only done if it's the safest option for you and your baby,' and also lists risks such as infection, blood clots, or excessive bleeding.
Some women are forced to have a c-section due to medical complications, but others opt to deliver their baby this way as a lifestyle choice.
While Kate may have been using the opportunity to poke fun at herself, many women were upset by the comment and took to Twitter - labelling Kate 'offensive' and 'ill-informed'.
However, others were quick to defend the actress, believing that Kate wasn't commenting on all women who have c-sections but was merely making a joke about herself. No one knows the ins and outs of her delivery, or whether or not she had a c-section out of choice, or for medical reasons.
Kate is yet to respond to the internet's outrage at her flippant comment.
Are you offended by what she said, or do you think she was trying to be self-depricating?
