Kanye West Ditches His Uber To Catch A Lift With A Paparazzo

Well he is trying to save on cash right now...

Kanye West has been pretty open about his financial issues in recent weeks, even resorting to asking Mark Zuckerberg on Twitter if he could loan him a billion dollars. So perhaps it's no surprise that he's cutting back on the expensive cabs now, too.

While most Hollywood A-listers have their own driver to ferry them from appointment to appointment in a fully-equipped, air-conditioned people carrier, Kanye West prefers to hail a humble Uber.

But on Tuesday Kanye's usual minicab mode of transport went a little awry. After working out at the gym with this wife Kim Kardashian, Kanye attempted to hail a cab from the back of the building, only to find the driver had gone to the wrong end of the street (we've all been there, Kanye), so one guy from the pack of the photographers surrounding him offered to give him a lift. "I don't need Uber anymore" he said, "I just have the paps take me where I wanna go!" Kanye said - presumably hanging up the phone on the lost driver - and proceeded to walk to the photographer's car nearby and hop in. We wonder what they chatted about on the journey... "So... where are you off to tomorrow then?"
