Stop everything: Justin Timberlake is set to perform at Eurovision (yes, really)

Justin Timberlake becomes the first ever non-contestant to perform at the annual show
Let's just add Justin Timberlake performing at Eurovision on the list of things you definitely didn't see coming.
The SexyBack singer has confirmed that he will be performing at the show in Stockholm this weekend, premiering the first performance of his number one single, Can't Stop The Feeling!, the new theme song for the upcoming Trolls film (and pretty much the best thing since Pharrell William's mega hit Happy). Speaking about the upcoming performance, Sven Stojanovic, Show Producer of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, enthused: 'This is a fantastic opportunity, we are very happy and excited that Justin Timberlake will perform his new song together with his band in our show. It makes it extra special that the Swedish songwriters Max Martin and Shellback have co-written and co-produced the song together with Justin Timberlake.'
Justin becomes the first non-contestant ever to perform on the iconic stage, alongside carefully selected finalists from 42 European countries.
While we're pretty sure he won't be joining the contestant's in a medley of his greatest hits (shame), JT's addition to the show certainly adds something to the TV event that is Eurovision (we ruddy love here at MC HQ) and we're sure Justin's performance will have the audience 'Come Together' in line with this year's competition theme.
The semi-finals start tonight and continue Thursday May 12th, before the Grand Final this weekend.
Tune in to BBC Four from 8pm tonight.
