Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel will reportedly tie the knot in three days

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have suffered endless speculation over their wedding date but it appears their nuptials have been confirmed for this weekend.

Reports from the States suggest the stars are planning a private ceremony in southern Italy with Us Weekly claiming initial celebrations began on Tuesday before a fireworks display erupted into the sky last night.

A coastal town, which has not been named but is in the south of the country, witnessed an impressive show although it’s not been confirmed that it was part of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s wedding celebrations.

The magazine also added that the stars were being ‘extra precautious’ in order to protect the privacy of their big day, or days if the rumours of a five-day celebration prove to be true.

The couple got engaged last December after Justin proposed in the mountains of Jackson, Wyoming, but it was the singer’s grandmother who announced the news.

Clearly the upcoming wedding has Justin feeling suitably romantic, in a recent interview with Hello! he reminisced about asking his fiancée out saying:

'I did it the old fashion way - by telephone. That’s something I learned from both my stepdad and my grandfather - that there is a thing called chivalry and it doesn’t have to die with the birth of the internet.’
