Champion boxer Joe Calzaghe has spoken out about his exit from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and reveals it's to do with an argument over fellow contestant Craig Kelly.
In a sensational interview championship boxer, Joe Calzaghe, claims the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing is a fix and that he ruffled feathers by arguing over fellow contestant Craig Kelly.
Joe and his partner, both on the show and in real life, Kristina Rihanoff, stayed in the contest for five weeks and secured a huge number of votes from the public. But speaking to the The Daily Mail, Joe said, 'Don't you think it's odd that we went out when we were in the bottom for four weeks and the public kept voting for us?
'We had the highest votes every week, the producers told us. Then all of a sudden we lost out in the judges' vote. Something was up.'
Joe, 37, refused to say what he had said to producers about Craig Kelly, but suspects that the reason he was booted off the show is because he argued with show bosses about Craig.
'I know it's down to something I said about Craig Kelly. It was worse than a swear word. They (the show producers) were really angry with me. So you can say it - Strictly Come Dancing is a fix.'
A BBC spokesperson said the idea of the show being fixed is 'ridiculous.'
