The actor got his best score to date from Len Goodman and the other panelists, notching up an amazing 32 out of 40 for his quickstep, which Alesha Dixon said made ‘everyone smile’.
Jimi and his pro dance partner Flavia Cacace even got a standing ovation from the judges, but the East Is East star didn’t fare so well with viewers, who voted him out of the competition.
But before leaving he told the audience that he was backing Ann Widdecombe to win, telling them: 'I think Ann has a very good chance of going all the way.'
'Only from the fact that all of us as dancers and pro dancers are up there watching it going "Ooh",' he added.

'It is funny and she's really trying and, bless her, she's actually going out there and gets a bit miffed if she doesn't get good scores because she wants to dance and I know Anton wants to do well.
'So it's an interesting combination and one that the public want to watch and ultimately they have the final say, so the math is that she'll do quite well.'
