The Hollywood star confessed to joyriding and drinking at just 12, in a special Mother’s Day interview
Jessica Alba may have an angelic face but she reveals her behavior doesn’t always follow suit. In a special interview scheduled to co-inside with Mother’s Day in the US, the A-lister confessed to a somewhat turbulent past telling her mum she previously went joyriding when she was 12.

And that wasn’t the only revelation her stunned mother, Cathy had to suffer, Jessica Alba also admitted to drinking bourbon aged just 11. The actress told her mum on Entertainment Tonight: ‘Remember when I used to steal the car and go to Jack in the Box? We would go get food. Like, that was our activity! But I was, you know, 12.’
She continued to reveal her former wild child years adding: ‘Who was the first boy that I brought over? Santino! We accidentally drank Wild Turkey [bourbon]. How old was I with Santino? Eleven?’
On hearing the news, the only response Cathy could muster was: ‘On air right now you are telling me . . . well, it was so long ago! This is a little shocking that you drank Wild Turkey in sixth grade!’
Despite the revelations there appears to be a close bond between mother and daughter and no one knows Jessica Alba better than her own mum. ‘She loses things,’ said Cathy. ‘She seems like she’s all together all the time, but this girl has gone through more passports, more credit cards, more keys…’

This prompted Jessica to realise she’d misplaced her wedding ring, she said: ‘I realised right now that I don’t have my wedding rings on as we’re talking about losing things. I think I put them in my jewellery box that Honor made me.’
