Jennifer Lopez celebrates 40th with two glittering parties
Jennifer Lopez celebrated turning the big 4-0 this weekend in true diva style, with not one, but two glittering parties.
Although she may have spent the day on the set of new movie The Back-Up Plan, la Lopez made sure she marked the occasion in style, and looked her glam best as she joined husband Marc Anthony for dinner in a form-fitting silver halterneck gown, and glittering chandelier earrings.
Onto night two, and continuing the non-stop fortieth festivities, Anthony surprised his wife with a star-studded surprise party.
Looking easily half her forty years, the actress was ethereal in a Roberto Cavalli Grecian white cut-away gown, teamed with gold disc earrings and an on-trend plaited up-do.
She reportedly burst into tears as she arrived at the event, where Anthony had arranged for a marquee with Lola emblazoned on the side in gold letters - his nickname for Lopez.
The couple were joined by a celebrity-packed guest list that included Liza Minelli, Ricky Martin and actor Alex O’Loughlin.
