In today’s greatest piece of ‘just because’ news, Jennifer Lawrence reminded us exactly why she’s our favourite famous person while out for dinner with friends last night.

Leaving the mega fancy restaurant Nobu in New York, J-Law did an actual Rachel Green walrus for the waiting paps complete with chopsticks hanging from her teeth. Honestly, the resemblance is fantastic.

After giving her best impression of the Friends character, Jennifer then showed she could switch up the look (but of course) by twisting said chopsticks into her hair for a haute new up-do.

Why is this world news? Well, it isn’t, obviously, but it’s a reminder of the genius of Jennifer if ever we needed it.

The Hunger Games star and Oscar winning actress has never been one to behave as public figures ‘should’ in front of the cameras.

We’ve seen her photobomb, we’ve seen her lose her fan-girl sh*t. We’ve seen her take a spectacular tumble on the most important night of her career in front of a room full of A-listers wearing Dior couture. She even once screamed with excitement when she saw Kim Kardashian in a lift.

And, frankly, we love her all the more for it.

Jetting in from LA earlier that day with her oh so cute dog Pippi, Jennifer is taking a break between filming schedules for the next instalment of X-Men: Apocalypse.

Switching from turned-up jeans and Vans to a flared white summer dress for dinner, we were starting to think that she might actually be just like us. Then we spotted that new season Diorama bag on her arm and we were reminded once again that she’s not our actual BFF. Yet.
