Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper will be making silver screen magic once again following their Oscar-winning triumph with Silver Linings Playbook as it’s announced the talented duo will star in a new thriller.

The film’s title is yet to be revealed but the cast have been confirmed and it’s an impressive mix with Jennifer Lawrence taking on the female lead alongside a trio of Hollywood’s hottest men – Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Jeremy Renner. Joining Jennifer is fellow Oscar-nominee Amy Adams and Silver Linings Playbook director David O’Russell.
The upcoming release has not started filming yet but Jennifer Lawrence will play Marie Weinberg, the wife of Christian Bale’s character, Melvin Weinberg. The film will focus on the 1970s FBI sting operation, Abscam where the organisation directly targeted members of Congress over bribing deals. The event was orchestrated by Melvin Weinberg, a con artist, who was hired by the FBI specifically for this project tasked with deceiving numerous officials.
