So Jennifer Aniston has been on Instagram a lot longer than we thought
Say what, Jen?
Say what, Jen?
Unless you've been living in the dark ages, you'll have heard the news that Jennifer Aniston finally joined Instagram this week. (Yaaass!)
The 50-year-old actress became the fastest Instagram account holder to reach 1 million followers, knocking previous record-holders Prince Harry and Meghan Markle off the top spot before you could say Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
It took Jen a cool five hours and one minute to reach the milestone, while the Suxxexes lag slightly behind at five hours 45 minutes. We hope they're not too disappointed.
Despite previously saying she'll never be on social media, it looks like our girl Jen had a change of heart, choosing the Friends cast reunion pic we all needed as her first post.
But despite the furore surrounding the former Friends star's Instagram debut, it looks like the lady has been using the platform for a while longer than we realised. Yep, Jen actually had a secret Instagram account long before we cottoned on to her social media presence.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week, the actress said she didn't know why she had chosen now to finally sign up to the gram. 'What you resist persists!' she shrugged.

Jen then admitted to being on Instagram for a while before her public page went live, so that she could suss the platform and its users out a bit. 'It was a stalker account,' she confessed. 'I was thinking about doing this; I figured it was time to understand the world and dip my toe into the social media pool.' Cheeky.
'I have to do more [posts] now I guess!' she added.
We look forward to seeing a lot more lols Jennifer Aniston Instagram content in the weeks to come.
