Is Jamie Dornan quitting Fifty Shades of Grey, or not?
Yesterday we brought you the news that Jamie Dornan was reportedly going to quit the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, and you reacted with comments like, 'But he's so handsome' and, 'We need more Jamie Dornan.'
Well, your panic may be unfounded dear readers, because now the actor's rep has commented on the gossip that Jamie was planning to pull out of the Fifty Shades sequels. And, while he's not flat-out denied the reports, he has called it 'conjecture.'
He said: 'All press reports are pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet.'
The report was initially made by Australia's NW magazine, which stated the main reason the actor wasn't returning to the film was his wife being uncomfortable with the BDSM scenes - and an apparent lack of chemistry with co-star Dakota Johnson.
The mag quoted an insider as saying: 'Jamie said the movie would skyrocket his career. He tried to assure Amelia nothing would change but women all over the world now lust after Jamie. She hasn't seen the film and I don't think she will to be honest.'
The magazine also brought up the claims that Jamie didn't click with co-star Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele, saying: 'Jamie does not think his performance was bad - instead he blames Dakota and says it wasn't possible to have chemistry with her.
