Jade undergoing operation to ease agonising stomach pains
Jade Goody was rushed to hospital last night to undergo an operation in an attempt to ease her agonising stomach pains.
The 27-year-old reality TV star returned to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Fulham last night, having spent the day at an Essex hospice in agony.
Her publicist Max Clifford said: 'She has a great deal of pain from her tummy and they don't seem to be able to get it under control.
'I asked her where the pain was and she said in her tummy, which is where it was before when they operated to remove a blockage in her bowel. She was sobbing and petrified.
'She was in absolute agony and obviously very frightened.
'She is going back to the Marsden. There's likely to be further surgery tonight or tomorrow.

'I just had a very emotional phone call from her.'
Jade had been hoping to return home from St Clare Hospice today but Mr Clifford said doctors had explained that surgery was likely to be the best option.
'I think it's just to get her out of this awful pain that she is in,' he said.
'It's a continuing process but we hope they will be able to get things under control. She wants to go home. She doesn't want to be in hospital.
'She's very frightened. She was sobbing on the phone to me. She said: 'Why can't they get me out of all this pain?' Hopefully that's what they're going to do.'
Meanwhile, her new husband, Jack Tweed, is due before Magistrates in Epping, Essex, today to face a charge of assault.
