Jennifer Aniston 'fears for her personal safety' after being targeted by stalker

The star has spoken out about how she has found the alleged stalker ‘extremely distressing’.

It’s been revealed Jennifer Aniston is being harassed by a 'delusional' stalker, and has been forced to file for a restraining order against the American man.

The Friends star has been left ‘fearing for her safety’, after being pursued by Jason Peyton, who is allegedly obsessed with her and believes she wants to have his children.

'Jennifer communicated to me mentally that she wants me to come and marry her and wants me to be the father of her children,’ the stalker's said to have told officers, adding: 'We love each other.'

Peyton was found to have an assortment of sinister items in the boot of his car, including duct tape, DVDs of films Jen has starred in, and scraps of paper with her writing on it.

Police are also said to have photographs of the words ‘I love Jennifer Aniston’ scratched into the side of his car.

Now Jen’s sought a comprehensive restraining order, to keep the ‘aggressive’ stalker away.

‘Mr. Peyton has aggressively sought to have personal contact with me and integrate himself into my life,’ the star said in a letter to court.

‘Mr. Peyton's ongoing, ever-increasing, aggressive and harassing conduct are extremely distressing. I fear for my personal safety and that of those around me.'

Peyton is said to have a history of hassling celebrities, and is believed to have contacted Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez and Courteney Cox in the past.

Under the terms of the court order, Peyton must now stay 100 yards away from Jen’s home and places of work, as well as keeping clear of her management and staff.

Luckily Jen has been able to escape her worries back at home, after touching down in the UK yesterday.

The Friends star is in London to launch of her new fragrance at Harrods.
