The actress and hubby Cash Warren welcomed their second child over the weekend

'Excited' new parents Jessica Alba and hubby Cash Warren welcomed their second child into the world over the weekend – a daughter named Haven Garner Warren.

The tiny tot was born at a private Los Angeles hospital on Saturday, weighing in at a healthy 7lbs.

Taking to Facebook to confirm baby Haven's birth, Jessica wrote: 'Hi Everyone, Hope you're enjoying the weekend. Cash and I are so excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Haven Garner Warren.’

'She was born on Saturday, weighed 7lbs [3.2kg], and was 19 inches [48cm] long. Healthy and happy! Big Sister Honor couldn't be more excited about the new addition to our family.

Last month, the blooming actress told how three-year-old Honor Marie has been looking forward to becoming an older sibling.

'I think Honor is excited about becoming a big sister,’ she wrote on her iVillage blog. ‘She's getting into this stage now where she gets to do big kid stuff -- and we try to make a big deal out of these little things.'

She went on to say: 'The idea of loving someone as much as I love Honor is something I haven't wrapped my head around yet. But I know I will and I can't wait.'
