Rumours rage on Heidi Range's involvement in the band's troubles
The latest twist in the Sugababes story is that 'good girl' Heidi Range may be the one behind all the band's trials and tribulations.
Keisha Buchanan, the final original member of the band, quit the group yesterday.
She said a 'breakdown in communication and lack of trust' was behind her decision.
Her announcement came after weeks of rumours of in-fighting with bandmate Amelle Berrabah. Keisha feared she had been branded a 'bully and b**ch' thanks to all the gossip.
But it has now emerged that Heidi could be the one who forced Keisha to leave.
The Sun reports that the singer brokered a secret deal with Amelle to get rid of Keisha. The pair then contacted Jade Ewen behind Keisha's back to replace her in the group.

The rumour gained momentum after Keisha was spotted crying at a London Fashion Week party.
'She felt absolutely devastated... she said she had no idea that she was out of the group and she felt so alone,' reveals a Mirror spy at the party.
Ex-Sugababes singer Mutya Buena then waded into the row with a revealing post on her Twitter page.
'I will say this publicly. Shame on Heidi for not following Keisha out. But it doesn't surprise me a bit,' she Twittered.
What could she mean by that? Is Heidi really to blame for the latest fallout?
One person taking it all lightly is Heidi's boyfriend Dave Berry. The DJ and presenter joked that he had now become the latest member of the girl group.
'It gives me great pleasure to announce that I am the new member of Sugababes,' he Twittered. 'The record company believe skinny, hairy men are the way forward. Please buy our new single.'
Tee hee. The nights must just fly by round at Dave and Heidi's...
