Introducing Jennifer Garner: Real life relationship idol…
Sage advice
Sage advice
Ever since Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck split in 2015, there has been speculation about the state of the A-list couple’s relationship. Are they, or aren’t they? Etc etc… Turns out, Jennifer Garner isn’t really isn’t in to all that game playing (funny that), and put the rumours to bed in the most sagacious way possible.
Earlier this year, the family travelled to Europe (all) together, a move that led people to speculate the pair had in fact reconciled. However, let’s not forget these two have somehow become the most grown up couple on the planet, and whilst they’re not together romantically, they’re going to make damn sure they’re still together as friends for the kids.
Speaking on NBC’s Today show, the actress explained once and for all how it really is: ‘Ben was working in London on Justice League and I felt like, “Well, the kids should have that experience,”’ Jennifer explained. ‘He and I are great friends and we just all went en masse. The kids and I had an amazing time, and he worked hard and got to join us for some. I want them to see everything's OK.’
’You can't buy parenting, no matter what,' the actress continued to explain in the candid interview. ‘You have to actually get down on the floor and spend some time together.’
Words to live by.
