Madonna shared a letter from Instagram revealing concerns she was not following their rules
Madonna is famed for her controversial approach to, well, almost everything, but it appears her love of raising a fair few eyebrows has landed her in hot water with Instagram.
MADONNA RESPONDS TO ELTON JOHN’S MEAN COMMENTS
The singer shared a letter from the photo-sharing website that threatened to shut down her account, claiming she has violated their community guidelines.
While the letter from ‘the Instagram team’ failed to highlight exactly what it was that broke their rules, it did state the following: ‘It has come to our attention that your account on Instagram has violated our community guidelines … We ask that you: don't share photos that aren't yours [and] don't share photos that show nudity or mature content.’
It is unclear as to what exactly caused the reaction from Instagram, particularly as there are just 19 photos on her account. The collection contains images of Madonna’s lips, cleavage and bottom as well as more demure shots including a horse and Valentine’s gift.

Some reports suggest it is the more suggestive photos that have caused concern but other sources speculate that the offending items were pictures of painter Frida Kahl.
Following the letter, in true Madonna form she then posted an image of her dressed up in a revealing leather dress showing off her incredible figure.
