The secrets behind Mandy Moore's simple wedding day
While their contemporaries may splash millions on lavish wedding days, Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams kept things simple for their intimate nuptials, which took place on Tuesday this week.
Speaking to People, Pastor Steve Schulte, who married the happy couple revealed, 'She was thrilled to be getting married. She was giddy but not in a childish way. She was obviously so happy.'
The pair wed at Whitefield Chapel at Bethesda Home for Boys in Savannah, in a last-minute ceremony, with Moore's rep contacting Schulte just the day before.
As for the all-important dress, and Moore kept things casual in a cream lace tea dress, and flat sandals, while her beau wore skinny jeans, a tee and trainers.
The eight-minute ceremony took place with just the couple and pastor present. The newlyweds exchanged silver rings, bought from a local jeweller.
Obviously itching to become man and wife, the couple got engaged just a month before their big day.
