It's been twenty years since Will Smith led the charge against alien invasion in 90s classic Independence Day. Guess what? The extraterrestials are officially back. What's more, we can now watch the newly-released trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence.
Fans of Independence Day will be excited to hear that stars Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman are back as scientist David Levinson and President Whitmore. PS: we're loving the beard, Bill.
So, where are we now? Well, the sequel is set after the alien aftermath of Independence Day and the world is building a defense system using the alien’s technology. However, with a second wave of attacks in motion, the human race must band together once more for another intergalactic fight.
