Find out what last minute changes have been made to filming over concerns for safety in the Middle East
Homeland producers have been forced to relocate their filming plans in Israel after fears for the safety in, and relations with, the Middle Eastern country.
Plans were overhauled last week when stars of the show - including Claire Danes and Damien Lewis - were told filming would be moved to Morocco amid concerns about political unrest between Syria and the US.
The American television company had been liaising with an Israeli production centre in the country where episodes from the first two seasons had been filmed but the scenes from the new series are being remained.
Though plans to move the filming were intended to keep the peace, it seems the change of direction has upset the Israeli television company greatly as they have now lost a significant amount of money.
The producers claim filming was so far down the line at the time of decisions that the scripts had been received and money had changed hands.
Homeland fans don't have long to wait, however, as Series 3 is set to return in the UK this October.
