Paris Hiltons brother, Barron, arrested for DUI
It seems Driving Under the Influence (DUI) runs in the Hilton family – Paris’s little brother, Barron, was arrested yesterday morning for the crime that landed his older sister in jail.
The 18-year-old was arrested after failing to pass a sobriety test at 8am on Tuesday and for carrying a fake license, according to LA County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.
He spent all day in jail before his $20,000 bail was posted.
Barron was driving a black Mercedes along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu when another motorist noticed he was driving erratically. When he stopped, the other driver had him sit on a bench until deputies arrived.
Barron's father Rick Hilton said in a statement: ‘I haven't been contacted yet by either my son or the police. If what I have heard is true, it is very disturbing and I will have a lot to say – but it will be to my son, not the media.’
Paris famously served time in jail last year for violating probation in an alcohol-related driving offence.
