Never thought you'd see Helen Mirren TWERKING in public? The Oscar-winning actress surprises the Internet...
Helen Mirren just became the best thing about twerking, as she unveiled her secret dance talent IN PUBLIC.
Being honoured as Woman of the Year by Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the Oscar-winning actress reluctantly demonstrated Miley Cyrus' signature move on stage.
Which is basically like watching the Queen twerk.
Playing up to the excited audience (and can you blame them), Helen Mirren confessed that she'd 'tried twerking in my bedroom [and] it was absolutely humiliating'. But it was a different story on stage as she mastered the raunchy move.
Hasty Pudding Theatricals is America's oldest undergraduate drama troupe, whose awards are presented to performers who have made a lasting contribution to entertainment.
Joking at the bash, she called Harrison Ford the 'hottest actor I ever worked with' and joked that in a fight Meryl Streep would win, claiming: 'She's bigger, stronger and mentally stronger than I am.' But can she twerk as well? This remains to be seen.
