Heidi Klum has issued a statement in response to estranged husband Seal's allegations that she had a relationship with her bodyguard, saying: 'Seal has moved on and so have I.'

Seal recently alleged that the supermodel cheated when he released a statement saying his estranged wife had decided to 'fornicate with the help,' a reference to Klum's romance with her bodyguard, who she was spotted cosying up to on holiday in Sardinia recently.

While Seal has since backtracked with his accusations, saying that he never meant to imply that Heidi cheated when the two were a couple, Heidi took the opportunity to speak out about the situation in an exclusive statement issued to People magazine.

'I cherish all of the great memories Seal and I created together over the years. Our separation was based on issues between the two of us.'

'Seal has moved on and so have I. My priority has and continues to be protecting and providing for our children.'

The couple split in January after seven years together.
