Harry Styles and his reported romances aren’t the only stories hitting the headlines as One Direction’s incredible earnings are revealed
Harry Styles has a lot to be pleased about, not only was he lucky enough to grace the front row at Burberry during London Fashion Week, he’s raked in an incredible £100 million in just two years, as have his One Direction bandmates.
Since coming third on the X Factor in 2010 One Direction have netted the impressive sum making them one of the country’s most financially successful pop groups of all time. Although a large chunk of their wealth comes from lucrative sponsorship deals with the likes of Nokia phones, Pokemon games and Hasbro toys.
IS HARRY STYLES DATING ALEXA CHUNG?
But the One Direction boys aren’t the only ones smiling, Simon Cowell has earned an estimated £200 million from the band after the fivesome were put together during the bootcamp stage of the TV show.
The staggering revelation appears in a new chapter from Tow Bower’s biography on the music mogul that previously lifted the lid on an affair he had with Dannii Minogue.
The biographer writes: ‘One Direction were Cowell’s new Westlife – a revival of his mastery of the music business. Nothing had been left to chance by Sony Music, with the band’s hit album Up All Night selling over five million copies.”

‘The songs, publishing, discs, DVDs, merchandising and endorsements brought in huge profits, with the five members of the group together estimated to have earned nearly £100million. Naturally, Sony and Syco raked in much more.’
HARRY STYLES ROMANCE ‘FREAKED’ CAGGIE DUNLOP OUT
The £100 million, for band members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne, is just the start of it; they’ve just become the face of Pepsi which came with an estimated £11 million price tag.
And next year sets to earn them many more millions, with One Direction - The Movie’s release and a world tour that has already sold out.
We’ll prepare ourselves for even more One Direction madness in 2013 then. Joy.
