Rowling has announced that she's to write her very first book aimed at adults
The Harry Potter author, JK Rowling, has announced she's to write her first novel aimed at adults.
It is already one of the most highly anticipated book launches of our time but, so far, all details about the subject matter, title and release date are a closely guarded secret.

The rights to the book have been bought by publisher Little, Brown and more details will be revealed later this year.
Speaking about her new book, Rowling said yesterday that it will be nothing like Harry Potter. 'Although I’ve enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series, which has been published so brilliantly by Bloomsbury and my other publishers around the world.
'The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry's success has brought me, and with that new territory it seemed a logical progression to have a new publisher.'
