Gwyneth Paltrow shares rare pictures of her children Apple and Moses

The Hollywood actress posted the intimate snaps on her Goop website after a family holiday in St Lucia

She's usually fiercely private when it comes to her children, but Gwyneth Paltrow gave us a glimpse into her charmed family life yesterday by sharing a set of rare pictures of Apple and Moses on her Goop website.

In a New Year's blog post on the site, the Hollywood actress is seen wearing a striped Melissa Odabash bikini in a Polaroid-style snap alongside her super-cute kids whilst on holiday in St Lucia.

Daughter Apple looks like a mini-me of her famous mum, with a beaming smile and wearing a pair of pink Ray-Ban sunglasses, while son Moses, which she names 'Mosey' on the site, is snapped drinking from a coconut wearing a black version of the sunnies.

Several other pictures were featured in the blog entry, which show the children doing typical holiday activities including swimming in the sea and building sandcastles.

The family stayed at the luxury Viceroy Resort at Sugar Beach on the Caribbean island, with Gwyneth posting: 'We are just back from an amazing (and sadly short) holiday at Sugar Beach Viceroy Resort in St Lucia. It was heaven.'

The actress also wished her Goop followers a 'happy 2013!' and revealed that, unlike previous years, she is not embarking on a January detox or diet. She goes on to discusss which super-foods she's going to be adding to her intake and lists several recipes for readers to try.

She said: 'I am not on a detox. I am not on a diet. I know, New Year’s cleansing and all that. Not this year. Can't do it. Maybe later in the year. Maybe in the spring. So for now, I would like to continue with my pasta and cheese, but perhaps be more mindful of ingredients.'
