Gwyneth Paltrow yesterday donned another pair of kinky, six-inch heels in a week that has seen her transform from earth-mother to drop-dead gorgeous glamourpuss.

Gwyneth recently ditched her long blonde locks in favour of a sassy-looking bob, and enlisted the help of workout warrior Madonna to help her get in shape for her European promotional tour. And, along with a shorter hairstyle, has come shorter hemlines - and higher heels.

The Oscar-winning star has this week been showing off the fruits of her labour in a series of show-stopping outfits as she promotes her new film Iron Man – an action-adventure movie that sees Robert Downey Jr play the title role.

She kicked off the sassy style week in a pair of vertiginous patent shoe boots – which required the aid of a bodyguard to walk in - by a little-known designer called Paccini, for a night out in Berlin.

The next morning, on Tuesday, she wowed crowds at a photocall in Berlin in a floaty Stella McCartney Spring 2008 skirt suit, which she teamed with hot-as-hell, patent lace-up shoe boots.

Fast-forward to the evening premiere, and Gwynnie shimmered and sparkled in a funky Sonia Rykiel Autumn 2008 minidress, with a sky-high hemline and even higher Louboutin heels.

Next stop? Rome. And another show of eye-popping outfits. Yesterday morning's photocall saw the actress raise the temperature in a skin-tight, black micro-mini from Preen Spring 2008 and fetish-inspired, lacy skyscraper heels.

For the glamorous late-night premiere, the newly-emerged bombshell shone in a figure-forming, one-shouldered Jean Paul Gaultier Couture Spring 2008 dress with a striking shell print.

We can't wait to see what she wears to this evening's London premiere!
