Want to look fab in your bikini? Gwyneths got the answers
Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed she is embarking on another detox diet – to get ship-shape for her appearance in Iron Man 2.
So, if you're looking to get a beach-ready body fast, Gwyneth's top tips could be the answer to your prayers.
The actress just completed a three-week ‘Clean’ detox programme as she simultaneously shot the new movie.
‘I feel pure and happy and much lighter (I dropped the extra pounds that I had gained during a majorly fun and delicious "relax and enjoy life phase" about a month ago),’ she told subscribers to her Goop newsletter.
The Cleanse, developed by Gwyneth's doctor and detox diet specialist, Dr. Alejandro Junger, consists of two liquid meals a day with a solid one (no processed foods, dairy, sugar, or shellfish allowed) in-between.
Gwyneth has embarked on the diet before, and says it really works.

She said: ‘I followed it to the letter and I can report it works wonders.’
At the beginning of the year Gwyneth said she needed to ‘lose a few pounds of holiday excesss', adding: ‘I created this menu plan for a seven-day elimination diet. The shakes and juices are meant to be liquid meals that help decrease the amount of work your digestive system has to do. I will be suffering along with you to kick-start my year a bit lighter. Good luck to us all!"
She even gave some bowel movement advice:
‘If your bowel movements get sluggish, you can accelerate things by drinking half a cup of castor oil or using a mild herbal laxative. Bowel elimination is paramount for correct detoxification.’
