It's clearly useful to have friends in high places! When Gwyneth Paltrow needed singing tips for her live performance at the CMA Awards she turned to none other than close friend and superstar songstress Beyonce.
The actress revealed to Access Hollywood: ‘I kind of asked my girl singer friends for advice. I asked Faith Hill a lot of questions - and Beyonce actually, too.

'I studied Beyonce a lot and her concerts for her kind of confidence - and I'm lucky that I know some singers in real life,' Gwynnie added.
The Oscar-winning actress performed the title track from her new film Country Strong at the ceremony in Tennessee on Wednesday.
Admitting she needed some help before the ceremony to calm her nerves, she confided pre-show ‘I went to a great bar and I had a pint of Guinness. That's my new ritual. I'm feeling good!’
