Gwyneth Paltrow has just said what we've all been thinking about Goop
'I don't know. I need to start on my jade egg practice.'

It’s hard to believe that Gwyneth Paltrow’s health and lifestyle publication Goop is almost ten years old - it’s been the gift that keeps on giving thanks to it's cutting-edge wellness and extravagant product advice.
From Paltrow-approved vaginal steaming methods to $200 Moon breakfast smoothie powders, we've spent hours getting lost on the site wondering if we actually need a $285 tablecloth. But what does Gwyneth think of the Goop- approved lifestyle advice and products available? Well, in a move that has made us love her even more, it turns out that Gwyneth sometimes has no clue what’s going on when it comes to the site.
Chatting on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (where else?), the late night host asked Gwyneth about ‘grounding’, which the site endorsed a little while back. He asked, ‘There are a few things and tips...but there’s a couple of things, and I’ve written them down here - for instance, tell us about ‘earthing’?’
‘I don’t actually know that much about earthing and it came out of me not knowing anything about earthing, but hearing about it. They say that we’ve lost touch with sort of being barefoot in the earth, and there’s some kind of electromagnetic thing that we’re missing. And so it’s good to take your shoes off and walk in the grass,’ she began, gradually losing steam as she went along.
Gwyneth then laughed and cut herself short, admitting, ‘I don’t know what the fuck we talk about.’
We’re here for it.

Jimmy and Gwyneth’s conversation moved from grounding to jade eggs, an ancient Chinese tradition that helps tighten vaginal muscles and balance female hormones by shoving a literal jade egg inside your vagina. (Yikes.)
She explained a little more eloquently, ‘[Women] put the jade egg in their lady parts to help tone the pelvic floor.’
‘How does it help do that?’ Jimmy asked.
She responded, ‘I don’t know. I need to start on my jade egg practice.’
‘You’ve never been on this website before, have you? What are you doing in that office?’ Jimmy asked.
This isn’t the first time that Gwyneth’s been completely self-aware about Goop, and she’s even poked fun at it before. While promoting Goop’s Wellness Summit last month, she filmed a tongue-in-cheek video talking about some of the site’s biggest claims and what you can expect there.
She joked, ‘Now you’re probably thinking this is one of those crazy upscale events where we all drink kale smoothies and get stung by bees on purpose. And you’re right. It is.’
At least she's saying what we're all thinking.
Gwyneth, we bow down.
