A-listers admitting to hitting the bottle on set is not something we usually hear. But now usually straight-laced star Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted to getting drunk while filming latest movie Country Strong, to get into character.

Gwynnie’s brand new Nashville-set flick – also starring Gossip Girl Leighton Meester - sees her play alcoholic singer Kelly Canter, who leaves rehab and hits the road with her manager hubby.
And now she’s told all on her recent stint of method acting, revealing it was ‘awesome’ to get drunk all the time on set, but perhaps not very professional.
'You just get really drunk all the time. Which is awesome!’ she revealed of starring in the musical flick.
'At least I did anyway, it’s not very professional. There’s a Bloody Mary at 10 am and keep it going all day!'

'It was actually very liberating and amazing to play somebody who just didn’t think about consequences,' she continued, 'because I’m so responsible with my life, and too worried about everybody and my kids and where’s everybody going.'
The star also admitted she based her wayward character on famous troubled singers, including Britney Spears and Michael Jackson.
