When you think of Gwyneth Paltrow, the first thing that probably springs to mind is her approach to wellness. From jade eggs to $200 moon smoothies, she has become synonymous with unusual health hacks thanks to her lifestyle site, Goop.
But if you stretch your mind back to a time before Gwyneth was advocating vaginal steaming, you'll remember that in the nineties she was just a young actress trying to make a name for herself in Hollywood. And in case you’ve forgotten, back in the nineties she was one half of the decade's biggest power couple, and dating one of the most eligible bachelors in Tinseltown – Brad Pitt.
After a year, an engagement, and a whole load of matching leather, Brad and Gwyneth ended their relationship and broke all of our hearts in the process. In the years that followed, she went on to date Ben Affleck, and later went on to marry Coldplay's Chris Martin before the pair announced they were 'consciously uncoupling' in 2014.
Now, Gywneth has decided to open up about exactly what went wrong in some of her high-profile relationships during an interview on Sophia Amoruso's podcast, Girlboss Radio. The podcast is part of a media venture recently launched by Amoruso, the inspiration behind Netflix show Girl Boss and former CEO of Nasty Gal, which aims to champion 'ambitious women who are exploring success on their own terms'.
'I've fucked up so many relationships,' she confessed. 'I'm actually a pretty good friend, and a good sister and daughter and mother, but I'm at my potentially most vulnerable and fucked up in the romantic slice of the pie.

'It's taken me a lot of work to get to the place where I have a good romantic relationship. So Brad Pitt, if you're listening. I fucked that up, Brad.'
Gywneth also went on to explain why she associates success with relationships, saying: 'Success to me is relationships that function really well. Where there is a beautiful feedback loop between people. I think without relationships of quality, you are not a successful person. So, if you don't have a good relationship with your partner, your children, your best friends, then it's really hard to claim success.'
Despite getting our hopes up earlier this year that there was going to be a Gywneth Paltrow Brad Pitt reunion, Gywneth is currently dating American Horror Story writer and producer Brad Falchuk.
It is rumoured that the Iron Man actress is engaged, after being spotted with a ring on her finger during rehearsals for an upcoming Avengers film.
So while die-hard Pitt-Paltrow fans out there are gunning for the reunion, it's looking unlikely. Sorry.
