Gwen Stefani's Baby Name Is Exactly What We'd Expect
The singer and husband Gavin Rossdale gave their third son a suitably rockin' moniker
The singer and husband Gavin Rossdale gave their third son a suitably rockin' moniker
Gwen Stefani has a track record of choosing non-traditional baby names - so, to be honest, we would have been more surprised if she had named her baby boy Thomas or Edward.
The No Doubt singer, 44, gave birth to her third son on Friday, and proud papa Gavin Rossdale tweeted the news the next day.
'Welcome APOLLO BOWIE FLYNN ROSSDALE ❤️❤️❤️ 2/28/14 ❤️❤️❤️ (Bowie and Flynn =mothers' maiden names),' he wrote.
So that explains the baby's middle names - but what about the first name? The couple has yet to explain the unique choice, so we can only imagine they're fans of Greek mythogy. Or the American space programme. Or astronaut movies starring Tom Hanks...
Whatever the significance, the cool name fits perfectly with the other two Rossdale boys: 7-year-old Kingston James McGregor and 5-year-old Zuma Nesta Rock.
Congrats, Gwen and Gavin!
