Grace Kelly hasn’t appeared on screen since 1955, after she retired from acting to pursue her royal duties as princess to Prince Rainier III of Monaco.
The new biopic film, titled Grace of Monaco, will focus on just six months in the life of the Oscar-winner turned-Princess.
In 1962 Kelly was said to have played an instrumental part in helping Monaco remain a sovereign state from France.
The script focuses on this period about the princess’ bid to save her country and has already secured $15million to make it into a blockbuster.

The film follows in the footsteps of the Marilyn Monroe biopic, ‘My Week With Marilyn’, in which the stunning Michelle Williams secured the lead role.
Kelly, whose classic film appearances include The Rear Window and High Society, died in 1982 following a car accident. Her son Prince Albert II still reigns in Monaco.
The question now is who will play the iconic beauty? The Hollywood blondes including January Jones, Diane Kruger, Charlize Theron, Blake Lively and Scarlett Johansson have all been suggested. Our guess is as good as yours.
